You emailed me the invoice given by VAS and just throw to me settle. Do you actually know how the process is being done at this moment?!!

I can't do anything to claim from the money collected from participants you know? All the money paid out is all by me and others. Invoices are already here and I still can't do anything to them!

You just throw me this and that's it. Your job is simple isn't it? Assign here and there but you have no idea on how things should be going. Really thanks man. I am seriously considering of backing out of the xlb buffet, pulling 2 persons out with me if i'm not going. As because of YOU again, they rather not join than staying in there, with YOU around.

17th June 2011-Friday's Volleyball

I was expecting Eugene (at least) to reach school by 6 to 630pm as I think he will be punctual or rather the first few to reach for this week's volleyball. But in the end, both Si Jia and Eugene came at only 7pm as Si Jia got Eugene to fetch her but Si Jia herself was late. I was like, its YOU again.

When I reached at 6pm, Joel was there already. No choice, talked to him before Lester and to me, the bogus vice project director of Volleyfest'2011 reached. So like 630pm, only the 4 of us.

Lucky I met Joel yesterday, as he told me that the last Volleyfest in 2009, they had exactly the same problem with Great Eastern like us now. And, the shocking thing was GE still came down to put a booth as arranged and lastly, refused to sign the contract after the event saying that its useless to sign the contract already since the event was over.

According to Joel, they got what they wanted during the event i.e. they got the participants' details. Quoting what Dennis said, they use these details to do the unorthodox stuff like spamming your emails and calling you. So yucks!

I let Si Jia know about all these sometime during the volleyball session and now then she is getting worried. She even wanted to take over from Dennis the liaising with Great Eastern. I was like, this is useless lor as of NOW. Because Dennis's special sem is ending on Monday. So like now then you know its urgent. Like I said before, by the time you realised its urgent, alot of things would be too late. Nevertheless, we will just need to endure this weekend and wait for Dennis.

The issue with GE now is they say that the contract is very pro-NUS, asking for non-NUS fulfilment. None of us could comprehend what the David was meaning. Maybe Dennis is, but he's too busy to deal with it. So just for Dennis.

She told Eugene about all these stuff at the end of the volleyball session. And she even added that she hoped Eugene would be free so that she got ahmad. Before telling Eugene she already told me she hoped that Eugene is free. I know we need Eugene to be around for this discussion as he is one of the core member in the committee and definitely able to help us but not to the extend of being ahmad.

You must have not noticed that Eugene sometimes do complain about his mileage. And GE at Changi is not that inaccessible. If the need of travelling down with bus is necessary, just do it in this kind of circumstances now. We cannot afford to think of having that bit of comfort as the main thing is getting the contract signed before the event starts.

Elson made a very good point about this GE issue. Si Jia commented that if they don't sign the contract, we will not allow them to play in court and set up the booth. But the things is we don't get the money as pointed out by Elson. We need that money to survive for this Volleyfest!

Seriously you have not made any good suggestions so far...

Oh ya. Another thing to add on. You showed me the contract with GE. Inside, there's one term stating that GE logo would be on "Certificate of Participation" of Volleyfest. Where the hell when we have this? I looked at her, she blinked her eye and gave me a blur look. So I asked her who's doing this? Obviously no idea right? And she said at most she's gonna do it. I was sitting with Ting Ting sometime and so I casually asked her about this. She told me that Si Jia is going to design it. But I think that she's not gonna make it and asked Ting to help supervise in the design since she is some sort of already under the designing department.

2nd Matter-XLB Buffet after Volleyfest

Yng Tng mentioned about this and she recalled she needed to collect S$10 deposit from those who are going. She asked who is going for this and only Eugene and Yingpeng put up their hand. I didn't. Because seriously i'm having second thoughts of it. If I go, I will ask Wee Hoe and Choon Yew to stick around me to prevent her from coming too close to me. Haha! As these are the persons that she got problems with. Hahaha.

At the end of volleyball, I think she did not managed to collect any S$10 from ANYONE. When she was trying to collect the deposit from Elson, Elson replied her:"Huh?! 要给钱的?". Haha! As she told Elson its a 庆功宴 so Elson said that this kind of celebration should be paid by the boss. And so we continue to joke that we will go other places and we still fork out money! Haha! Remembering that Eugene once joked also that if need to treat us, he will go with Si Jia only.

We all, except for her, think that the deposit could be paid by you first then we pay you. Its easier right? But she did not think likewise. So Eugene asked her if she has got enough money. I think she has the money lor. She already signed with MOE, receiving money and don't think her family is that poor also. So why she cannot pay first?

She replied, softly but I could still hear, saying that "not really enough money". I didn't really care because all the stuff she has got me into. Though still quite surprised. Haha.

3rd Matter-Vice Project Director

I really don't like to mention his name for so many reasons. First, when he reached with Lester at about 630pm, he talked to me. He said "辛苦了" about the fbt shirt printing. Normal reply is of course "Sure, no problem". But in my heart is of course you can just say this as you are not the one doing it. And you like this job damn lots because you can sit there doing nothing, just seeing what we are doing.

You didn't reply me sms nor email with regards to the fbt shirt design before or after the matter was resolved. Yesterday you told me it was because your attachment place has no internet connection and so you couldn't reply my email. So what about sms? At least you could have told me in the sms at that moment saying that you cannot reply lor. But you didn't. And now you are trying to explain why. Its of no use now. You are already a bogus vice project director to me. You sitting in that position is just retarded.

You also did not help Si Jia much as of what I know. You are like only contactable during school term and disappear during school holidays. You have to make known that you are having attachment. Even if you are busy, at least late reply please. You just reply some of my emails and that's it. Nothing else more.

Secondly, your volleyball playing style is still very basketball style. Its like your improvement compared to most of the guys is slow. Lester and me playing opposite of you nearly died running because of your digging. A lot of times the way to receive (bad and good ones) can be learnt just by viewing.

Lucky you are in the club's committee. If not I don't know how I'm going to survive.

Vfest'11 11th June 2011

As time goes by, I just keep finding out more and more of your irresponsibility actions.

The logistic list created and submitted to you, you didn't really bother to understand what are the items are and what are they used for. I am actually quite afraid of the situation again whereby you would said " Oh shit. I didn't know they are referring to this." or "Oh shit. I forgot about it." etc. And you need others to help you clear your dirty backside again.

In addition, I will be definately one of the persons cleaning your backside for you, yourself.

As a friend, I don't mind helping out but helping out also has to assess the situation. I feel that no matter how big or how small the matter is, as long as it is relevant to the event, you should know what is happening. Yes, you trust that person in charge but you still got to ensure the progress and ask to concern about it. But seriously, you only wait till you kan chiong then you keep spaming the person with calls, emails and sms to ask about it. This is an event. By the time you realised that something is wrong, it might be too late.

8th June 2011-Vfest'11

There are so many things needed to be pushed for this event at this moment. 2nd referee issue, time constraint on 1st day of event, fbt t-shirt printing and requested yesterday night, vfest budget.

The request I only saw it this morning when I reached the office. It was too late to send her immediately and so notified her that I will send it when I reached home after work. However, mum worked late and so I gotta buy dinner for all. I reached home 7 minutes before 8pm. Felt energy drained and so sat on sofa watching tv until 845pm and forced myself to go and bathe so as to catch 9pm show on SCV, VV drama channel.

Suddenly recalled need to send her the budget, so on my computer immediately after I showered and quickly edited some parts and sent it to her. Thought that she just wanna see it to keep track of the earnings so didn't care much while editing.

Then she replied commenting here and there in a tone whereby I feel that she wasn't happy. As usual, when your tone isn't good, my reply will not be as friendly as well. Below is the convo.

just some notices for you regarding budget. the referee cost is $360 for both days for only 1 referee. we'll get our own ppl to be the second referee and linesman. secondly, why is the cost of the balls $0? if it's to be absorbed by ourselves, then remove it from the budget bcos everything in the budget needs to be accounted to ky:) and the price of the tees. its $10 for 230 pieces right? but the cost is above $2300. if it's due to 7% gst, please state it. just some notes for you, so please edit the budget accordingly. thanks:)

You only mentioned just send you the most recent edited buget and fullstop. No requirements from YOU. How I know you want a proper one when previously your Assistant project director (who is almost equal to a nobody) ask for the same thing as well? His purpose was just to see it.

From this event I find out alot of things about you. As the project director yourself, you don't oversee ALL the things yourself and you just let your subordinates do it. Not all people are as 细心 as me who will check all stuff before sending out emails etc.

To quote some examples, marketing people previously did not change the link of vfest'09 to vfest'11. And so sponsors who may want to know more about the event go and click the link and realised its 2009 event. Steady right? It was me who found it and its only until the marketing people has sent out so MANY emails already.

The Vfest logo is 2010 and you also never notice it. You send the medal and banner design to me asking me for comments and you yourself has no comments at all. As you bascially just reiterated what I said to the designer. It is like you don't feel doing anything and outsource these to me.

All these just make me feel that you are not putting in 100% of your heart into this event. Don't you feel that this is the 1st event that you are in charge of and you should do it nicely? You claimed that you are very busy when its actually the result of your own decisions. You took up some household-based job, dance class, going for beach and special semester. If you can't cope, drop them please. Its not always able to get the best of both worlds.

For this event, I know that meetings on Fridays before volleyball session is inevitable, I took a part-time job, working on tuesdays to thursdays only. Also for me to rest on other days as well. As for you? You should know that you have alot to handle for this event so don't make urself so occupied la!

Dennis is so busy with his special semester and you still let him continue to handle GE's problems like contract, dilvulging participants' contact and etc and fbt printing. And you kept complaining that Dennis's replies were so late. You should have assigned another person to take over if you need a faster reply! And if you don't feel like taking them up again. I seriously don't know whether you actually know the printing of shirts is KNN rush and it has monetary issues. You simply just leave it to me.

You need people to share your problems its the same for the people who shared your problems. They also need others to share their problems okay. Just like me. But so far I have not received any care and concern from you. I think Dennis too.

Elson is having his fyp and so you said you don't want to touch the publicity department. Then who's left? Again me, eugene and wee hoe? The you say marketing department done alot too. Then seriously left who?

Me and me and me right? I feel like a half project director seriously. The name in place assistant project director bascially just do not exists. He is a bogus one. And he just MIA.

On payment day itself

It was so long ago set to be 3rd of June and you like 2-3 days ago sending out email asking for helpers. Wee Hoe also complained why never inform earlier. This was in my mind one week before the payment day but i'm just waiting for YOU.

You got me no helpers, created an inaccurate and lousy format checklist. Did I say anything? You want stuff that is done up to standard but you never say. Then feedback to us. What about us? You basically like throw us in the water and ask us to swim ourselves.

Simply, your effort is just not there. You did not think through a lot of things from what I have seen.

Your email on the edited fixture, I am not going to care and you settle it yourself. You only sent to 4 persons. You think others can't help? People like wee hoe? He may have some ideas to resolve the problems. But becasue you had a commotion with him not long ago so you didn't ask him. :)
